Final Environmental Impact Statement

After the close of the 45-day comment period on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (Draft EIS), a Final Environmental Impact Statement (Final EIS) is prepared that addresses all comments received on the Draft EIS.  The Final EIS is filed with the EPA and made available to the public through a Notice of Availability in the Federal Register.  After a 30-day public review, the Army will make a final decision.
